Tuesday a.m.

I'm watching the sun rise while eating my raisin bran. It's funny - I never really liked raisin bran before; too soggy in milk, too tasteless. Perhaps it's yet another indicator of my increasing years.

God sure does an awesome job on sunrises and sunsets. He paints with light and with clouds.

Movie on a hot Saturday night....

Megan and I are going to watch "Shrek 2" tonight. I had the realization a couple of weeks ago that I'm going to be a dad in a very short time, and I've never seen "Shrek". I know, I know - how could that have happened? Well, the situation has been remedied.
I bought some groceries this morning, and was reflecting on how much life will be different with a little guy in tow. A simple run through the store will be something totally different, possibly highlighted with episodes of puking, screaming, and pooping - maybe simultaneously. I can't wait!

I want to remember this time in my life! My thoughts usually exist as a random stew in my brain, and I think and hope that I can record them here in some sensible form! I pray for patience to all who read, and that I might learn from all that I write here.
Our boy is due in 2 months and 4 days, and counting....
